`NAMITHA IS ?BENKI? SALONI IS ?BIRUGALI? IN `BENKI BIRUGALI`

Another Kannada film ‘Benki Birugali’ title is repeating again after 26 years. The yesteryears ‘Benki Birugali’ released in 1985 starred Dr Vishnuardhana, Shanker Nag, Jayanthi, Jayamala, Jai Jagadish, Sunder Raj, Manu, Arikesari, Dinesh, Shiaram, Musuri Krishnamurthy, Umesh, Direndra Gopal, Brahmavar Shakthi Prasad, Sudhir, Soma and others in the cast. That was directed y Tiptur Raghu for Shakthi Movies HP Sowbhagya.
Now the same title ‘Benki Birugali’ Kannada film starring sexy siren of South India Namitha Kapoor and silent beauty Saloni went on the floors on Sunday afternoon. Crazy star V Ravichandran sounded the clap board and wished success for ‘Benki Birugali’.
The non speaking SK Basheed has clear idea of producing this film in Kannada and dubbing it in to other south Indian languages. Then only it works out for him too. This is the third film of Bashid in his career.
The director without divulging anything on the contents of the film gave other details but what was evident from the title is that Namitha the hot queen of South India represents ‘Benki’ and cool looking Saloni to represent the qualities of ‘Birugali’. This is a triangular love story that will be shot in 85 days schedule.
The shooting will be held for 10 days on the beach side. That very clearly indicates how the heroine Namitha will be utilized in the cinema. In Bangalore, Mysore, Chennai plus Malaysia, Bangkok and Switzerland the shoot will be held for talkie and song portions.
Actress with potential image Namitha was in ‘Namitha I Love you’ a few months back in Kannada. She has repeated the sentence what she told at the earlier press meet. ‘I have given up glamour image’. This is a heroine oriented film she says which she liked immensely.
One of the five heroines of ‘Budhivantha’ Saloni is another heroine. This is a comedy cum action movie she pointed.
Rishi is making debut in Kannada. He has acted in one Telugu and one Tamil film.
Srilekha who hails from Raichur is the music director. Earlier she worked for Madhuve Agona Baa. She is scoring music for two songs. Earlier she worked for ‘Ramdev’ of S.K.Basheed cinema.
